New York Common Core State Standards stress the value and importance of cultural organizations as resources for learning. Members of the Museum Education Consortium of Buffalo provide primary sources and first-hand experiences in art, architecture, history, and the natural and physical sciences. These are valuable assets as you help to "make facts live" through your teaching.

In addition to guided tours, MECOB members offer many other educational opportunities. Hands-on learning, interactive tours, loan kits, classroom presentations, audio-visual programs, and curriculum guides are some of the services that MECOB members can provide. Museum educators are available to work with you to help meet your curriculum needs.
